Meet the founder

Who am I and why did I create this blog?

I'm Paula, and this blog was born after 10 years of traveling around Europe, having lived in Barcelona, London, Paris (for a while), and Madrid. The idea of creating it has been on my mind since I was 19, while I was working in Hospitality in London. That amazing city inspired me a lot to start a lifestyle blog someday. Now, It's the time.

Why Embracing Simplicity?

In a society that is running all the time and cannot stop doing things, I have a natural preference for coziness and embracing the vita lenta way of life, as it is called in Italian. Less is more. You’ll often find me listening to music by the sea, reading interior design and fashion magazines, practicing yoga at home, learning how to sew, enjoying a nice meal with family and friends, or capturing beautiful moments through photography.

Which song is always on my playlist when I'm traveling?

"California" by Phantom Planet. It takes me back to the intro of one of my favorite TV series: The O.C.

What does a perfect Sunday look like for me?

Waking up not too early and making a delicious breakfast, dressing comfortably, strolling through a market to buy fresh flowers, exploring little shops, having lunch at a cozy restaurant, and, ending the day at an art gallery exhibition.

What do I want you to find in this blog?

My goal with this blog is to create a space for lifestyle inspiration—sharing articles about fashion, hospitality recommendations, yoga, interior design, and much more. In short, it’s all about romanticizing life.
